Spectator information

Ticketing, event venue and more

We want you to have a fantastic time at the IBSA Blind World Championships in Hereford, so much so that we see you as the audience for our show and not just spectators at a sporting event.

Day tickets are available now priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions (including students); day tickets will be offered for all championship days, with at least two games to be played in one venue on a single day.

Once they become available, you will be able to choose from different options for purchasing your tickets:

For group orders of 100 and more tickets, more information will be available soon. To make an initial enquiry, contact blind2010 by email.

The venue

The tournament venue will be the showpiece stadium at the Royal National College for the Blind.

The College has been a key player in opening up the national game to people with sight loss and in helping put blind and partially sighted football on the British sporting map.

They are also the proud home to the England national squad, who train here with the support of The FA and the British Paralympic Association under the direction of former professional footballer Tony Larkin, now a Senior Manager at RNC.

All fixtures will take place on the outdoor sand-based artificial turf pitch, which will be surrounded by seating to cater for more than 400 spectators.

A great day for the beautiful game

There is much debate about who coined the phrase the ‘beautiful game’ but everyone who has ever used it – from Pele to Platini – meant pretty much the same thing. Football is a game played by 300 million people across the globe, and enjoyed by millions more. It’s beautiful because it unites people. The teams, communities, and countries too.
