run2 launches Blind2010 website

Web and graphic designers run2 have completed the launch of the website for the 2010 IBSA Blind Football World Championship to be held in Hereford next year.

The site is just one facet of run2's involvement, which has already included logo design for the Championship and is set to include several ongoing assignments between now and the event itself.

The project is the latest in a serious of successful partnerships with Manchester-based sports management consultants Logistique, with whom run2 also acted as lead designers for the multi-million pound Salford Sports Village and also for the 2004 Partially Sighted Football World Cup. It also sees run2 again engaged in projects for The FA, for whom they have just completed the resdesign of various resources for their flagship Level One Certificate in Coaching Football.

A great day for the beautiful game

There is much debate about who coined the phrase the ‘beautiful game’ but everyone who has ever used it – from Pele to Platini – meant pretty much the same thing. Football is a game played by 300 million people across the globe, and enjoyed by millions more. It’s beautiful because it unites people. The teams, communities, and countries too.
