Friendly dates announced

England will play Germany in two friendly international matches as part of their preparation for the forthcoming World Championship.

The first match will be played on the World Championship outdoor pitch at the Royal National College on Friday April 16th and will be closed to the general public whilst the second match will take place on Saturday April 17th kick off at 2pm. Due to the outdoor venue not currently having seating provision the second match is being targeted as an ideal opportunity for spectators to come along and watch the England team in action and will be staged indoors at the superb the Point4 venue in Hereford.

England last played Germany in the 2009 European Championship inflicting a 4 goals to 1 defeat with England going on to reach the final narrowly losing to hosts France whilst Germany finished in fifth place.
