Draw and Tickets
The official draw for the 2010 IBSA World Blind Championship will be made on Monday April 12th at Wembley Stadium. Following the draw tickets will be available for sale via the internet and at the venue.
Ten countries will go into the hat. As hosts England will be seeded A1 and as holders Argentina will be seeded B1.
Pot 1 (Europe) will contain Spain and France. The first team drawn out of pot 1 will be seeded B2 and the remaining team A2.
Pot 2 (South America) will contain Brazil and Paraguay The first team drawn out will be seeded A3 and the remaining team B3.
Pot 3 (Asia) will contain China and Japan. Prior to the teams being drawn out of this pot there will be a draw from pot 3a to seed the teams either A4 or B5. Following this the teams will be drawn out in turn. For example the draw may be pot 3a – A4 and then pot 3 - Japan.
Pot 4 (Mixed) will contain South Korea and Cameroon. Prior to the teams being drawn out of this pot there will be a draw from pot 4a to seed the teams either A5 or B5. For example the draw may be pot 4a – A5 and then pot 4 - South Korea.
